Heather teaches, writes and plays in the  San Francisco Bay Area. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from  Lindenwood University, was an editorial assistant for Issue 11 of Lindenwood Review, and is writing her second book in a forth coming trilogy for middle school aged children.

She has taught English, Social Studies, and Digital Journalism at her middle school for eight years.

She is a current member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and is no longer Fortnite Bait.

Contrary to popular belief, writing is not a solitary activity; it requires others to not only read the writing, but offer advice along with support. Heather’s writing partners include Lynn, author of She Made a Monster and Emily, Social Media Coordinator for SCBWI.
